Abstract
Akıllı sürdürülebilir kentler alanında yapılan bilimsel araştırmalar, bu alandaki ilerlemenin, disiplinler arası bakış açısıyla çözülebilecek çok yönlü sorunlarla başa çıkılması gerektiğini göstermektedir. Yaratıcı bir sınıfın varlığının, kentsel çevrenin kalitesinin ve buna adanmış ilginin, eğitim düzeyinin, çok yönlü erişilebilirliğin ve kamu yönetimi için Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojilerinin (BİT) kullanımının, sürdürülebilir kentsel yapı ile doğrudan ilişkili olduğunu görüyoruz. Teknolojinin sağlamış olduğu avantajları doğru yönde kullanarak yaşam kalitesini maksimize eden kentlere doğru yol alırken, tüm katmanların dâhil edildiği bütüncül ve kapsayıcı stratejiler belirlenmesi oldukça önemlidir.

Abstract
Scientific research in the field of smart sustainable cities shows that progress in this field is to tackle multi-faceted problems that can be solved from an interdisciplinary perspective. We see that the existence of a creative class, the quality of the urban environment and the devoted attention to it, the level of education, the versatile accessibility and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for public administration are directly related to the sustainable urban structure. While moving towards cities that maximize the quality of life by using the advantages of technology in the right direction, it is very important to determine holistic and inclusive strategies that include all layers.
